What is the purpose of the book cover?-

What the purpose of the book cover is it shows people what the book is most describe about because it shows detail and describes about the book making them have interest into reading it or having them understand the picture on what it could represent in the book that's the main part of it.

Excellent example design of a book cover-

Why I think that it can be a good example design of a book cover because the text details really interests me by the shading, design of the text letters, the color white that is like fading behind the text and a nice dark background including the rose that's laying on the book cover and rose pedals that are falling. 

What makes a good or bad book cover?-

What makes a good book cover is show creativity, some details, don't use too many colors, make the text look nice and for people to see. You can make it little simple or make it to something else that comes to your mind.

Short Summary and why I chose to do hunger games catching fire-

It has been six months since Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won the Seventy-fourth Hunger Games, an annual event in which each district in Panem sends one female and one male tribute to fight to the death in a televised competition for food and money.

The reason why I chose Hunger Games Catching Fire because it's my most favorite book to read and I know a lot about it. I've been reading all three series since freshman year and I think it will be great to actually to make my own book cover of it since I know much more about the book, I know what it's all about and what happens in the book. I also like science fiction quite a lot it it's one of my favorite genres that I like.

The main theme about this book is love, courage, loyalty, trust, competition, survival, and war

Plot summary- After arriving safely home from their unprecedented victory in the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark discover that they must do a quick turnaround and begin a Victors Tour. As she and Peeta travel throughout the districts, Katniss senses a rebellion is stirring. However, President Snow proves that he is still very much in control when word comes of a cruel change in the rules for the upcoming 75th Hunger Games.

The three sketches I sketch is on the upper left corner is the cornucopia and in the book version is gold. The second sketch is the lighting tree I did not try to draw the lighting but I did draw a tree that's in the book. The third sketch is the clock it means that in the book when Katniss and the other tributes are in the arena it looks like a clock. What happens is when the time changes in the arena it brings out monkeys, waves, blood bath, poison fog, or lighting depending where the direction of the clock arena turns to. 

This is how my final project turned out I know I wasn't able to fully finish the requirements that needs to be in the book cover. But I did best as I can to get it done even during after school.
